Adra founder, Angharad Gwyn, was the main subject of an edition of the BBC Wales Welsh language current affairs programme, Taro 9, in April 2007.

Wales has seen a huge increase in the number of young people leaving rural areas for Cardiff in recent years. Subsequently numerous schemes have been set up by local authorities and national agencies to try and attract them back to their roots. It is acknowledged that those who wish to move back to the country face a challenge and this was the topic of Taro 9.

The programme followed Angharad’s progress over the period of a year as she prepared to leave her secure job in Cardiff and move back to her roots in rural North Wales to start a new business.
